Options that matter on site
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
Typical scopes of work
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Godalming must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Planning the work around your site

PVC strip curtains in Godalming: your questions
Which strip curtain grade suits our Godalming premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Godalming?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Godalming in writing after a free survey.
How often should strip curtains in Godalming be replaced?
It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.
