Options for PVC strip curtains in Farnham
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
Typical scopes of work
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Farnham must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.
