Options for PVC strip curtains in Bordon
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
What this work can involve
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Bordon must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
How the work is organised
Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.

Questions from businesses in Bordon
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Bordon site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
How often should strip curtains in Bordon be replaced?
It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.
Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Bordon?
Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
