The short version
Losing heat or chilled air through a door left open all day at your Basingstoke site? A PVC strip curtain lets people and vehicles pass freely while cutting draughts, dust, noise and insects.

What to specify
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
Typical scopes of work
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Basingstoke must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
How the work is organised
If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.
