Vertical-lift fabric. Reinforced fabric curtains with wind bars that fold up beneath the lintel.
Designed per opening. Each door engineered around the opening size, structure and site wind exposure.

Drives and controls. Electric drives per leaf or central, with manual or emergency operation.

Typical scopes of work

Surveying and specifying a very wide sliding or folding door for a building that houses large plant and machinery.
Fitting a vertical-lift fabric door to a tall vehicle maintenance shed where adjoining buildings take up the side space.
Recladding the leaves of a large sliding door with a corrosion-resistant finish suited to an exposed site.

Powered door rules that apply in Clwyd

Clwyd is in Wales, where powered industrial doors fall under Great Britain's health and safety law. Whoever makes a door powered — including converting a manual door — usually takes on the manufacturer's duties under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008: risk assessment, technical file, conformity marking and a Declaration of Conformity. Once it is in use, the employer or occupier must keep it safe under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998.

Planning the work around your site

If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.
