What we fit in Ayr

Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.

Examples of work we can quote for

Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.

Keeping strip curtains safe in Scotland

The business running the site in Ayr must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Planning the work around your site

For busy sites in Ayrshire the work can be split across visits — preparation and framing first, door installation and commissioning second — so the opening is only out of action for the shortest time.

PVC strip curtains in Ayr: your questions

How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Ayr?

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Ayr site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Ayr?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
