What we fit in Long Eaton

Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.

Typical scopes of work

Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Long Eaton must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Keeping your site running during the work

Downtime matters on a working site, so the programme is set around your shifts. For a single door the opening is usually needed for a day; multi-door jobs are done one bay at a time so deliveries keep moving.

Frequently asked questions

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Long Eaton site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

Which strip curtain grade suits our Long Eaton premises?

Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Long Eaton?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
