What to specify

No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.

Examples of work we can quote for

Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.

The business running the site in Stranraer must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Your questions about PVC strip curtains

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Stranraer?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.

How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Stranraer?

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.

Which strip curtain grade suits our Stranraer premises?

Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
