What we fit in Morley
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Traffic route rules that apply in Morley
Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.
How the work is organised
Most installations in Morley can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.

Questions from businesses in Morley
How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Morley?
Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
How often should strip curtains in Morley be replaced?
It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.
