Town: Ossett
Postcode district: WF5
Area: West Yorkshire
Survey: Free for new installations

What to specify

Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.

Typical scopes of work

Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Ossett must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Access, phasing and timing
