Options for sliding and folding industrial doors in Ross-on-Wye

Robust build. Steel-framed leaves with steel, panel or timber cladding.
Folding leaves. Bi-folding leaves stack neatly where side wall space is limited.
Electric operation. Motorised leaves with the safety devices needed to protect against crushing and shearing.
Wide spans. Very wide openings are handled by adding leaves, so width is rarely a limit.
Insulated options. Leaves can be filled with insulated panels and sealed along their edges to cut heat loss.

Jobs we can carry out

Renewing seized trolleys and a distorted overhead track on large sliding doors to a vehicle shed.
Supplying insulated sliding leaves with edge seals for a converted building now used as a heated workshop.
Replacing worn timber sliding doors on a storage building with steel-framed bottom-rolling doors and a wicket door.

Safety law for industrial doors in England

Industrial doors in Ross-on-Wye are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

Keeping your site running during the work
