What to specify
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
Jobs we can carry out
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Grantham must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
How the work is organised
Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Grantham?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Grantham in writing after a free survey.
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Grantham site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Lincolnshire?
Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Lincolnshire to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
